Madonna Returns to Malawi for Opening School

Madonna flew to Malawi with her four kids – daughter Lourdes, son Rocco and her two adopted Malawian born children David and Mercy. The Pop Queen’s week-long break to Malawi after her break up with husband Guy Ritchie is not a retreat at all rather it is a trip with a busy schedule.
Madonna’s trip to Malawi has various aspects to it including the curtain raiser of her charitable school, Raising Malawi Academy for Girls at Malawi capital Lilongwe. The 51-year-old pop star was excited about the projects her charity Raising Malawi has taken up.
On a more personal note, Madonna wants her 4-year-old Malawian child Mercy to learn her mother tongue during the visit and build a good bonding with her biological father, James Kambewa who was sharply against the adoption.
